Diversified Erection Services began as a partnership in 1992. The skills of Fred Santucci, Morris Beedle and Slaney Walford came together to form a company capable of supplying a full array of structural steel erection services. Fred Santucci brought to the team over 20 years of industrial steel fabrication experience; Morris Beedle came with a reputation as a skillful, seasoned, and hardworking ironworker; and Slaney Walford rounded out the partnership with a lifetime of steel estimating and design experience.
The partnership’s combined skill launched Diversified Erection Services into a long-term growth path, continuously broadening the scope and size of projects. DES now boasts 59 years of combined ironwork experience among it’s Foreman, a full array of crane services including 50 ton crane, boom truck, scaffolding, and rigging equipment, along with skilled crane operators.
The scope of work has grown to include all forms of structural steel erection. DES contracts for new construction erection as well as, plant additions, installation of craneways, stairways, mezzanines, pipe bollards, safety guards, etc. DES also does relocation, removal and setting of production equipment.
In 2008, the company was purchased by Gene and Susan Wilston who continue to support the mission of quality, competitive, and safe structural steel erection.
